Terms and Conditions for Relationship Coaching Services

Welcome to Rooted & Free Relationship Coaching! By accessing or using my relationship coaching services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Nature of Services
I agree that I am hiring a relationship coach offering guidance, support, and tools to help individuals and couples improve their relationships, deepen intimacy, and navigate transitions. These services are based on Sam Barber-Morris' training and experience in psychology, consulting, mindfulness practices, and yoga.
Important Note: Sam Barber-Morris is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical professional. My services do not constitute therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are experiencing severe emotional distress, mental health issues, or relationship challenges that require clinical intervention, I strongly encourage you to seek the help of a licensed mental health professional.

2. Client Responsibilities
- Honesty and Openness: To get the most out of our sessions, you agree to be open, honest, and willing to engage in self-reflection and growth.
- Personal Accountability: You understand that the success of the coaching process depends on your commitment to applying the tools and insights provided.
- Health and Well-Being: You acknowledge that coaching is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, you agree to consult a licensed professional.
3. Confidentiality
- Your privacy is important to me. All information shared during coaching sessions will be kept confidential, except in the following circumstances:
- If I believe there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
- If required by law or legal proceedings.
- I may take notes during sessions to better support you, but these will be stored securely and not shared without your consent.
4. Payment and Cancellation Policy
- Payment: Payment for coaching sessions is due [insert payment terms, e.g., in advance, at the time of booking, etc.].
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee of $45.
- Refunds: Coaching services are non-refundable once a session has been completed. If you are unsatisfied with your experience, please let me know so we can address your concerns.

5. Limitation of Liability
- You acknowledge that relationship coaching is a collaborative process, and results may vary depending on your commitment, circumstances, and effort.
- I am not responsible for any decisions or actions you take as a result of our coaching sessions.
- I do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from coaching services.
6. Intellectual Property
- All materials, tools, and resources provided during coaching sessions are for your personal use only. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute these materials without my prior written consent.

7. Code of Ethics
- I adhere to the principles of integrity, respect, and professionalism in all coaching relationships.
- I will not engage in any behavior that is discriminatory, abusive, or exploitative.
- I reserve the right to terminate our coaching relationship if I believe it is not in your best interest or if there is a breach of these terms.

8. Disclaimer
- My coaching services are not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.
- I do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical conditions.
- You are solely responsible for your well-being and decisions during and after coaching sessions.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
I reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of my services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
